Country Gold started in the most ordinary way. Me, a mom of four, just going to a local farmer's market. I’ve always cared about health, but when I developed awful winter eczema, I suddenly became very aware of what I was putting on my body. I kept hearing about "tallow" this ancestral skincare that was so good for the skin. So I went to our local farmer's market with the intent to try tallow. And honestly? I was shocked at how quickly my skin responded.

I fell in love with its simplicity and effectiveness, but wanted to make it better because I didn't love all the ingredients used. That's when I started making it myself and began sourcing from local, grass-fed, Wagyu cattle here in Texas. The Wagyu are naturally richer in vitamins A, D, E, K, and omega fatty acids, making our tallow deeply nourishing and truly supportive for healthy skin.
